Transport Data Systems offers the ability for our support technicians to connect directly to your PC to view and resolve support questions that arise. For our technicians to connect to your PC, we request that you perform the following procedure:
1. Identify the program you are calling about so we can direct you to the appropriate technician.
2. Inform the technician of the issue you are having with the program specified.
3. If the support technician is unable to resolve the issue with voice information, then you may request that the technician connect to your computer so both you and the technician can view and run the software together to resolve the issue.
4. To connect via PC with the technician you are speaking with, click on the name of the technician you are speaking with from the list above. You will be prompted to click 'RUN' 2 times to allow the technician to connect with your computer.
5. Your request will be accepted by the technician and at that time both you and the technician will be viewing your PC.
*** Special Note *** The connection to your PC is only activated at your request and must be accepted by our technician.
The moment we disconnect the session after the support request is completed, there is no residual connection information left on your PC.
If there is a need to have our technicians connect with your PC again in the future, you will follow the same procedure outlined on this page each time this kind of service is requested |
